Virtus.pro part ways with ShockWave and Galaa

Niclas “ShockWave” Smidt Jensen and Jesús “Galaa” Núñez López are leaving Virtus.pro’s Overwatch 2 roster following the expiration of their contracts.

ShockWave and Galaa were part of Virtus.pro’s very first Overwatch 2 roster, signed in June 2024. During their time with the team, the roster competed twice at the Esports World Cup, and both players contributed to all of the club’s key achievements in the title. We thank ShockWave and Galaa for their contribution to the team’s development, their professionalism, and the work they put in while representing Virtus.pro, and wish them the best of luck and success in the next chapter of their careers.

The announcement of Virtus.pro’s updated Overwatch 2 roster is scheduled for January 2026. Stay tuned for further updates.
