Virtus.pro part ways with Daxak

Virtus.pro announce the end of cooperation with Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin, who represented the club in Dota 2. The player’s contract has expired, and both parties mutually agreed not to extend it. We thank Nikita for his work and dedication, and wish him the best of luck in his future career.

Georgy “drAmer” Faleev, Head of Dota 2 at Virtus.pro:

“Unfortunately, within the current roster we couldn’t find the chemistry and mutual understanding required for stable results and growth. Nevertheless, I sincerely wish Nikita all the best, whether he continues as a player or chooses a different path in life.

As for the roster, we’ll start testing candidates for positions 3 and 4 on Monday. Vlad ‘Antares’ will remain on the team and take part in the trial scrims as well. We’ll announce the updated roster as soon as possible before DreamLeague, once we gather for the bootcamp in Belgrade.”

Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin:

“It’s sad that we couldn’t achieve the desired results and keep playing together. I hope the team will find success moving forward.

I’ll take some time off and focus on my mental well-being to start a new chapter in the new year.”

The name of Virtus.pro’s new offlane player will be announced soon. Stay tuned for updates on our official social media channels.
