The first of three world records! Virtus.pro and EWC held the most incredible EA FC 25 match

Inspired by one of EWC's slogans, “It’s time to rise above,” we took on a crazy and thrilling world record attempt: two of our professional Standoff 2 players, Artem "GentlemaN" Belyaev and Samir "reason" Kurbanov, played EA FC 25 while riding camels in the Kyzylkum Desert in Uzbekistan. No one in the world had ever done anything like this before. A monitor and console were mounted in the bed of a pickup truck moving across the dunes, while our top players followed behind — riding two camels.

Not only the idea itself, but also the surrounding conditions became a real challenge for our esports athletes. The record attempt took place early in the morning in the Kyzylkum Desert, where even at that time, the temperature was already at 38 degrees Celsius, and sand-filled winds were blowing over the filming equipment.

The truck carrying the monitor got stuck in the sand more than once, and constant ascents and descents over the dunes made it difficult for the players to focus.This was the first-ever EA FC 25 match in the world played by professional esports athletes on the move, on camels, crossing a desert.

But for Virtus.pro — one of the largest multigaming clubs — and EWC — the biggest esports tournament in the world — nothing is impossible! The camel challenge became the first in a series of three unbelievable feats faced by our esports players.
