Virtus.pro launch a new Dota 2 roster

Virtus.pro announce the signing of another Dota 2 team.

The new international roster will become part of the Virtus.pro ecosystem and represent the club on the global esports stage. At the same time, the current squad will continue to compete under the VP.CIS tag, while the VP.Prodigy project remains unchanged: the academy roster will keep developing and preparing young players for the professional scene. Virtus.pro rosters will compete in different regions to maximize tournament opportunities. We also do not rule out possible transfers between squads if it strengthens the teams.

The roster is currently being formed by the coach BuLba together with Virtus.pro’s Head of Dota 2, drAmer.

Sam “BuLba” Sosale, Virtus.pro coach in Dota 2:

“Given the short window between TI14 and the first qualifiers, we moved quickly to secure three core players in Timado, Abed, and Tal. With the post-TI14 transfer market still very fluid and many players weighing their options, we want to remain flexible rather than rush into permanent decisions. We’re excited to see how Daxak and Antares can contribute during this period, as Virtus.pro already has a strong base of talent, and this trial approach gives everyone the chance to grow together step by step.”

Georgy “drAmer” Faleev, Head of Dota 2 at Virtus.pro:

“Virtus.pro have long gone beyond the boundaries of the CIS and are now a truly international multigaming organization with a presence on several continents. I’m glad that our Dota 2 roster has also managed to overcome language barriers and become genuinely global. At the same time, we remain committed to our home region: our Eastern European roster will continue to compete under the VP.CIS tag in EEU.”
